2008 4-H Gala
at The Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum
The 2008 4-H Gala was a huge success and greatly improved the development opportunities for youth in the Denver area. With more than 7 million members and 500,000 teen and adult volunteers, 4-H is the largest out-of-school youth development program in the United States. Thanks to all of our 2008 sponsors, 4-H came even closer to achieving its short term goals. Each Gala is unique and the M*A*S*H theme represented the Metro Area Supporting 4-H. One of the biggest hits of the evening was the well known, "Rosie's Bar!" Guests were able to enjoy live music by Pink Champagne and Ol' Blue Eyes as well as showcases from Colorado's 4-H members. Overall, the event allowed 4-H to educate its guests about the importance of extracurricular activities in kids' lives and expand 4-H clubs to the urban areas of Denver.
